Easiest pea hummus (vegan, GF)

This wonderfully easy & delicious hummus might just be your new favorite appetizer. Serve it with bread, crackers, or whatever you desire.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas | 250g or one 14-oz can, drained
  • 1 cup cooked green peas | 170g
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup water | 60g; plus more as needed
  • 3 tbsp tahini | 45g
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt | plus more to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper | or to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil | 42g; extra virgin

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except olive oil in a food processor.
  • Begin blending while streaming in the olive oil.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add more water as needed. Blend until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Taste and adjust the seasonings if needed. Serve immediately.
