Red velvet bliss balls (vegan, GF, oil-free)

A no-bake vegan recipe packed with protein and energy. These bliss balls are cute and yummy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup nut / seed butter | 60g; I used peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup applesauce | 60g
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup | 30g
  • 1 serving vanilla protein powder | 35g
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut | 40g; or use ground nuts / seeds of your choice
  • 1 cup rolled oats | 80g; ground into flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder | 5g
  • 1 tbsp red beet powder | 12g; I used Suncore Foods

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine all the above ingredients and blend into a homogeneous mixture.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add in a few tablespoons of water to help with blending.
  • Roll the mixture into 16-20 balls (about 1-2 tablespoons each) and place on a flat tray. Let set in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving.
